ST MARY'S CATHEDRAL, SYDNEY AUSTRALIA - RESTORATION OF CHURCH PEWS.
St Mary's Cathedral, Sydney is a landmark in Australia. It is the largest Cathedral in Australia and the largest sandstone building in Sydney. The cathedral is currently undergoing an extensive conservation programme which will continue for several years.
A.G.L. Restoration Centre is extremely proud to have been invited to be part of this programme. A.G.L. Restoration Centre has been commissioned by St Mary's Cathedral, Sydney to restore the entire cathedral pews consisting of 186.
All pews have been hand stripped and re-polished by hand using shellac with all traditional methods.
This contract is the largest scale project of it's kind to be undertaken in Sydney in the past decade.
